Emily is admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.
Emily has been working with Howden Saggers Lawyers since 2015. She obtained a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Griffith University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Bond University. Emily is currently completing her Masters of Law through Melbourne University specialising in criminal law and procedure.
Emily maintains a strong interest in social justice and regularly volunteers her time at Caxton Legal Centre providing pro-bono legal advice in relation to criminal law matters.
Emily is friendly, efficient, hardworking and understands that keeping in regular communication with people is important. She believes you have just as much right to know what’s going on with your matter as the lawyers do and to have it explained in a way that makes sense.
Emily has extensive experience in all areas of criminal law from traffic matters to sexual assault matters, drug trafficking and everything between and appears regularly in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts.
